Inlet Beach Homes & Condos
Real estate sales have long been part of Inlet Beach. Real estate ads from the 1920s advertised it as “a fairyland of beauty tucked away in this secluded spot on the Gulf of Mexico, sheltered by encircling forests and flanked by the turquoise waters of Lake Powell.” The end of World War II saw returning veterans of applying for land under a modern version of the Homestead Act. So many servicemen obtained property in Inlet Beach that the area was referred to as ‘Soldier’s Beach’ during the mid-1900s.
Today, single family homes and condos populate quiet neighborhoods. Inlet Beach is the place for people who want a quiet home life, with Camp Helen State Park on the southeastern side and Rosemary Beach on the northwestern. There are several neighborhoods being constructed and new homes and condos should soon be available to interested buyers. Inlet Beach real estate has been discovered and should appreciate quickly in value.
For people who want a peaceful home but don’t want to be too far from the amenities of larger communities, an Inlet Beach house or condo is an ideal compromise. Destin, Sandestin, Fort Walton Beach are only a short drive up Scenic Highway 30-A, while Panama City Beach is a few minutes down Highway 98. The many shops and unique businesses along 30-A are also easily accessible.
Inlet Beach real estate is something that should not be missed by people looking for a quiet vacation, retirement or year-round home with quick access to larger city centers.
