We may be known as the World's Luckiest Fishing Village, and be home to major fishing tournaments such as the Destin Fishing Rodeo and the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic but Destin, Florida is angling for yet another accolade.
World Fishing Network is trying to find the best fishing destination in the US, and our South Walton city has already made the list. With voting open until April 8, the title is far from decided and both Destin residents and supporters of the town are being urged to cast their votes.

Finding the Destin, Florida vacation property of your dreams just got a whole lot easier! Low-cost operator Vision Airlines has just announced a significant increase in the number of flights in, and out of, Northwest Florida Regional Airport in Fort Walton Beach.
A new schedule that sees Vision offering commercial flights to 20 US cities from as little as $49 each way, provides the Emerald Coast's tourists and business community with direct services to Niagara Falls, Baton Rouge, Little Rock, Miami and Louisville, among other destinations.
